About Kharkiv National Medical University
Kharkiv National Medical University, formerly known as Kharkiv Medical Institute and previously Kharkiv State Medical University, is a medical university in Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 1805, Kharkiv National Medical University was among the key universities that laid the groundwork for medical education. After being designated as a national university, it began to attract international students. The university recognises the importance of practical education, this is why 700 Indian students are
studying medicine at the Kharkiv National Medical University. The university has trained over graduates who are now serving in senior positions in foreign hospitals, thanks to its exquisite force of 600 skilled instructors.
Since 1951, the Kharkiv national medical University has been training medical personnel for countries of Eastern Europe, China, and Mongolia, and since 1961 Kharkiv national medical university has been training students from other countries of Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Within the extent of the university's competency, KNMU's education policy encompasses quality assurance, university management, and foreign contacts. It is a well-known institution for studying medicine, surgery, radiography, dentistry, and anatomy at a reasonable cost.
